Our Mission
We believe that every one of the UK’s 14.1m people with disabilities have their own unique superpowers. And we’re here to help unleash them! Our mission is to remove the barriers to participation these ‘Everyday Superheroes’ face every day. With your support, we can give more people than ever the belief, tools and opportunities to enjoy the life-changing power of sport.
A super-sized plan of attack
We aim to bombard barriers to disability sport participation from all sides. Here are just some of the ways we hope to make a difference:
Back to school: It’s crucial that every school child is introduced to sport in the right way, with the right attitude, using the right vocabulary. We plan to work with experts in different fields to develop a range of inclusive programmes, events and services that can be used by schools to ignite a passion for life.
Advancing amateur sport: We want to extend these skills and knowledge to sports clubs, coaches, volunteers, charities and families in the wider community by providing all kinds of fun and innovative training, taster and awareness sessions to help make inclusivity the norm.
The gift of grants: We will provide financial support to organisations and individuals to enable them to purchase the specialist equipment, training and support they need to deliver the programmes, services and events effectively.
Future fantastic: We’re making it a priority to invest in research and technological advancements to create new solutions and make the currently impossible possible.
Seeing is believing: Lack of confidence is the number one barrier to participation. We hope that by putting all these building blocks in place to challenge perceptions and create fun new opportunities, this last great hurdle will fall.

I'm a huge lover of sport and as an elite athlete, I’ve very fortunately been given access to a whole world of sporting opportunities. But as any everyday person with a disability looking to do sports events for fun I’ve found it a real struggle. The creation of this Foundation is all about removing as many of these barriers as possible."
